Lines which is the most important element for drawing and every design passed through the line the line may be in any form. Normally “its starts with a single dot and ends with the same dot but in between dots are combined together and represented with a line”. Lines are different types so the uses of lines are also depending according to their requirement.

Lines Styles

Normal line – A line which is normally drawn without any break. This types of line mostly used for construction purpose.

Dot dash line – A line which is very effective for drawings or illustration purposes for different types of look. The line made up with unconnected dots and dash.

Irregular dot dash line – This type of line also very effective just like dot dash line but the difference is the lines are in irregular shape.

Saw blade line – it contains triangle edges with the line this type of line is also used to draw an image.

Horizontal/ vertical Line – Both horizontal and vertical line are used for create drawing but the movement of the line is different one starts from left to right and another start from top to bottom and no doubt the less distance between one line to another will create more shading. In this types of art eraser part is very important because it creates the light and ultimately it’s creating art.

Crosshatching line – The line which is generally used to create the more accurate picture and its mix up both vertical and horizontal line, sometimes diagonal line also takes place to present a better image.

Silhouette –   Any shape which is filled by dark shade and the shape may be any form organic or inorganic doesn’t matter. After filled color, it shows completely single line sometimes you can use for shading purpose.
