Basic Steps in Flash Animation for Newbie

Animation can put life into a non-living art but before start animation you should clear about the basic steps. Animation play great role in our life. if I am going to say about it than animation is not only entertain children but also entertain senior people too. It is a complete package where we get STORY, ACTION, VFX, and many more. Today animation is so much developed we can create live action movie with animation. Animation is very high demand in present time. So you must be clear about it.

Basic Animation Procedure

Create a new layer.
Draw a simple circle for basic animation and that is in new frame.
Then click on second frame and press F6 and again select the object and move forward just a little bit.
And the same process will continue upto frame no 40, 60, 80 in according to your requirement.
Now press enter to play the timeline key frame.
If you want to continue in SWF player than press with CRTL+ENTER

Tween Animation

Classic Tween is that type of animation where you can move the object from one place to another place easily and for that you have to set a object in frame 1 and then pick another frame no like 40 then press F6. Now on that frame no 40 select the object and move it where you want. Then the final step is click on any no in between 1 to 40 frame. Right click and click on classic tween option. Now press ENTER to play.

Shape Tween is also just like classic tween but the difference is you can change shape from one to another at the time of movement. right click on in between frame and press shape tween after that you have to delete the last key frame object and place a new object (if there is circle shape than delete the shape and draw a new shape like cube).

Note : when shape tween apply the frame tween color will be changed to light green.

Motion Tween is different type of movement where you can move, rotate, transform, and can use filter option. But before doing this tween animation convert the object into a symbol. Ex- movie clip (Use F8 for symbol). Here no need to create other frame just 1 frame is enough so right click on frame no 1 after create circle and click motion tween. Now goto motion editor panel (window – motion editor) and set all the setting.
