Hello guys, I have a very basic guide for newbie and the guide is about ways of photo cutting. Photoshop is not only for Designers but also it works for others. Today it is a fashionable software just because its uses and its requirement so, each and every people very well familiar about it. But most of them know that it’s a photo editing software where can only photo will be edited. Anyway my topic is based on both for designers and photo editors. Ways of Photo Cutting?

Photo cutting is not a very difficult task but the way of cutting is different. There are many other features are available but the most of users are using this software for photo editing purpose and they use only two or three ways for photo cutting. In fact there are other ways are also available for photo cutting and I want to clear them about it. So guys let’s check out the ways.

Photo Cutting

  • Pen Tool – pen tool is the best cutting tool among the entire photo cutting tool. Its gives you full cutting control from each corner of an image. But one demerit part is its time taking. in fact the cutting time is depend on the user. P is the shortcut key for pen tool.
  • Mask Tool – mask tool is another best tool for photo cutting and its work fast than other tool and easily you can use it. Q is the shortcut key for mask tool.
  • Magnetic Lasso Tool – the magnetic lasso tool is work just like magnet. You can start with one single click and then you have to move the tool around the photo and the selection will be made automatically. Final is just close by click on the start point.
  • Polygonal Lasso Tool – this tool is based on click system so you have to click every time when you make selection and after complete selection just end it with the starting point.
  • Lasso Tool – this is the last category of lasso tool where the image can cut by continuously press left click of mouse until the end of selection. This tool is little bit difficult to use but good to start with this for practice. L is common for all lasso tools.
  • Quick Selection Tool – this tool is very simple and easy to use just click on tool and then click on the image area. It makes selection on every single click or you can move mouse over the image by holding mouse left key after one click. You can increase the size by pressing ] and decrease by [.
  • Magic Wand Tool – this selection tool is totally different. Only color is matter for magic wand tool. Only selection is made by the color means if you want to select red part than click on red color. It will select all the red part of image. W is common for quick selection and magic wand tool.
